Safety Executive

About the Role
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented  Safety Executive  to join our manufacturing unit. The role will be responsible for driving workplace safety initiatives, ensuring compliance with statutory regulations, conducting risk assessments, and fostering a strong safety culture across plant operations.

Key Responsibilities
Ensure compliance with EHS policies, statutory regulations, and company safety standards.
Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments across the plant.
Investigate incidents, accidents and near misses, recommend corrective and preventive actions.
Monitor Permit-to-Work (PTW) systems including Hot Work, Work at Height, Confined Space Entry and LOTO activities.
Conduct safety inductions, toolbox talks, and employee awareness programs.
Ensure availability and proper usage of PPE across all operational areas.
Coordinate emergency preparedness activities, mock drills, and fire safety initiatives.
Maintain safety records, compliance documentation, and monthly safety reports.
Track and close safety observations and audit findings in a timely manner.
Preferred Candidate Profile
3-6 years of experience in a manufacturing/industrial environment.
Strong knowledge of Factory Act compliance, occupational health & safety regulations, and EHS practices.
Hands-on experience in safety audits, incident investigation, and risk assessment.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to engage with employees and contractors to drive a positive safety culture.
