Reporting to the Accounting Manager, this position is responsible for processing wire transfers, timely funding of loans through warehouse portals, ensuring smooth loan processing and maintaining accurate records. This position produces daily warehouse reports, updates funding trackers and coordinates with various departments to ensure proper loan funding and timely paydowns.
Additionally, this role updates the Loan Origination System (LOS) with funding details and tracks loan sales through the warehouse portals. This position collaborates closely with the closing department to review closing documents and wire requests and partners with the accounting team to monitor warehouse capacity and provide necessary funding reports.
Core Functions and Responsibilities- Monitor and download daily bank balances and distribute daily cash report.
- Validate wiring instructions by telephone and prepare online wire transfers, ACH transactions and other funds transfers.
- Assist with setting up bank transfers and wire instructions, ensuring compliance with company policies and accuracy in processing.
- Ensure timely processing of paydowns on the warehouse lines.
- Process loan funding requests timely while reviewing documentation for accuracy.
- Communicate with bank representatives to resolve issues and special requests.
- Record and document all activity in logs and tracking schedules.
- Manage confidential and non-routine information; exercise strong judgement to ensure appropriate escalation and/or review.
- Develop positive working relationships within the team and across the organization.
- Maintain broad influence through ongoing development of relationships across the organization.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related field (or equivalent combination of years of experience with High School diploma/GED)
- 2+ years' experience in treasury operations, corporate banking or a related finance function
- 2+ years' experience in loan funding
- 2+ years' experience within the mortgage banking industry preferred
- Familiarity with Encompass preferred
- Solid understanding of bank account management, cash management and treasury operations
- Proficiency with financial systems and bank account management platforms; experience with ERP systems preferred
- Solid skills and experience in MS Word, Excel and Outlook

3 days a week onsite at the Oakbrook Terrace office and 2 days a week remote (as designated by management).
Compensation and BenefitsHiring Range: $30.00-$34.00 per hour
Compensation within this range may vary based on each candidate's job-related expertise, skills, and experience. Final offers are determined individually, reflecting the unique qualifications of each candidate.
