Overview
Job Description - LPN - C Wing PRN - Mercy Campus ). Mercy Regional Medical Center.
ResponsibilitiesDescription The L.P.N. is a professional caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of patients in cooperation with the registered professional nurse for a designated time frame and provides care to these patients via the nursing process, the therapeutic environment, treatment and modalities and interdisciplinary collaboration. Maintains patient confidentiality at all times.
Qualifications- Knowledgeable and sensitive to patients' rights in the delivery of care. Is assertive.
- Communicates in a clear, concise and understandable manner.
- Current licensure in the state of Louisiana as an LPN. Current BLS. Strongly recommended ACLS and PALS.
- Sound knowledge base of general nursing theory and practice for all patient populations to be served.
