An international automotive manufacturing company in Southern Indiana is currently seeking a driven Production Supervisor with experience in manufacturing and proficiency in industrial processes and machinery. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing daily production operations to ensure they meet customer requirements.

Supervises team members to ensure efficiency and that safety standards are being followed

Establishes and performs goals, action plans, and objectives for the department

Provides supervision, training, and professional development for staff

Troubleshooting and maintaining the production process

Coordinates manufacturing activities with teams to meet daily customer requirements and production targets

Ensure plantwide compliance to OSHA, EPA, and other safety / environmental requirements and standards

Ensures accurate reporting and documentation in production, with precise data entry into systems

Takes a lead role in driving and participating in continuous improvement efforts and maintains 5S/3D practices

Associate degree or an equivalent experience

At least 1 year of experience in some sort of lead or supervisory role, preferably in a manufacturing environment

Familiarity with machine operations and mechanical skills for effective troubleshooting.

Able to work in a fast-paced environment

Ability to read blueprinting and parts inspection

Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating, and maintenance documents

Good communication and collaboration skills in a multicultural environment

Strong problem-solving skills and time management ability
