As our Supply Chain Quality Manager
, you’ll be the guardian of ingredient and packaging integrity—from farm and supplier all the way to our finished products. You’ll lead the charge in building and maintaining a strong, compliant, and resilient supply chain that meets regulatory requirements, customer expectations, and our own high internal standards.
You’ll work cross‑functionally with Operations, Procurement, R&D, Sales, and external partners to ensure every ingredient we bring in is safe, compliant, traceable, and fit for purpose. This role blends technical expertise, relationship management, and practical problem‑solving—and plays a critical role in protecting our customers, our brand, and our values.
What You’ll Do- Own and continuously improve our supply chain preventive controls program
- Qualify, monitor, and manage supplier performance across ingredients, produce, and packaging
- Evaluate supplier audits, conduct onsite audits when needed, and drive corrective actions
- Assess ingredient and supplier risk through vulnerability assessments and hazard analyses
- Ensure compliance with FDA, USDA, FSMA, GFSI, customer, and retailer requirements
- Stay ahead of recalls, outbreaks, and regulatory trends—translate them into action
- Partner cross‑functionally to approve ingredients, manage substitutions, and support launches
- Serve as the go‑to expert for supply chain regulatory compliance internally and externally
- Keep SOPs current, provide training, and strengthen inbound supply chain processes
- Use modern tools (Specright, , supplier portals) to stay organized and proactive
- You bring both technical credibility and practical judgment—you know the rules, understand the “why,” and can apply them in a fast‑moving manufacturing environment.
- Strong working knowledge of U.S. and Canadian food regulations
- Proven ability to analyze audits, regulations, and technical data—and turn them into clear action plans
- Experience with supplier management portals (Azzule, Trace Gains) and specification systems (Specright)
- Comfort juggling multiple projects while maintaining strong attention to detail
- Clear, confident communicator who can collaborate across Operations, Procurement, R&D, Sales, and suppliers
- A mindset rooted in ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement
- A calm, solutions‑focused approach—even when issues arise
