Job Title: Pediatric Psychologist Job Code: CH-002 Grade: A3 Reporting to: Children’s Health Integrated Care Center Your Impact
- ≥ 90 % parent/caregiver satisfaction with counseling sessions
- 20 % average reduction in standardized anxiety/behavior scores within three months
- ≥ 85 % of patients meet treatment-plan goals
- ≥ 80 % of multidisciplinary referrals completed seamlessly
- Assess & Diagnose – Use play-based and standardized tools (e.g., CBCL, BASC) to identify children’s emotional, behavioral, and developmental needs.
- Deliver Therapy – Provide individual and group interventions (CBT, play therapy, family counseling) tailored to pediatric populations.
- Coach Caregivers – Teach parents behavior‑management strategies, communication techniques, and home‑based supports.
- Integrate Care – Collaborate with pediatricians, nurses, and allied health to embed mental‑health support into each child’s care plan.
- Develop Resources – Create workshops and materials on managing tantrums, anxiety‑coping skills, and social development.
- Monitor & Adapt – Track progress via validated measures; refine interventions based on data and family feedback.
- Advocate & Educate – Lead team briefings and community outreach to destigmatize pediatric mental‑health care and encourage early support.
- Improvement in validated behavioral/emotional assessment scores
- Patient engagement and treatment completion rates
- Parent/caregiver feedback and referral frequency
- Time from referral to first session (≤ 7 days)
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology (licensed or license‑eligible)
- 3+ years’ experience in pediatric or child‑development settings
- Proficiency with child‑assessment instruments and EMR documentation
- Strong play‑therapy and family‑systems intervention skills
- Exceptional empathy, patience, and cultural sensitivity with children and caregivers
- Collaborative mindset to work across multidisciplinary teams
