Employee Health/ Managed Care / Infection Control Nurse
Overview:
The Employee Health/ Managed Care / Infection Control Nurse role oversees the employee health program, including pre-employment screening, employee verification, annual PPD testing, Covid testing, and work-related injury follow-up. It also involves knowledge of infection control practices. Case management responsibilities include gathering information to submit to insurance companies for continued stay approval for rehabilitation and formulating a safe discharge plan.
Must have 2 years of experience in LTC.
- Oversee functions of the employee health program, including pre-employment screening, employee verification, annual PPD testing, and Covid testing
- Manage work-related injury follow-up and maintain infection control practices
- Perform case management tasks to gather information for insurance continued stay approvals for rehabilitation
- Formulate a safe discharge plan for patients
- Must have 2 years of experience in LTC
