Base pay range
$16.00/hr - $21.00/hr
We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Emergency Medical Responder (EMR) to join our team at Trans Unit, a reputable medical transportation service. As an EMR, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the safe and timely transportation of patients, including stretcher-bound individuals, to and from medical appointments, hospital transfers, discharges, and admissions. You will play a crucial role in providing essential medical care and transportation services to individuals in need.
Qualifications- EMR certification is preferred, but not required.
- Applicants with prior medical or caregiving experience are encouraged to apply.
- Company sponsored EMR certification is available for qualified candidates with relevant medical experience.
- Provide safe and professional transportation for patients to medical facilities.
- Deliver basic medical care, including monitoring vitals, checking oxygen levels, and providing CPR when necessary.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and other medical personnel as needed.
- Ensure ambulances are fully stocked before and after shifts through thorough rig checks.
