Qualifications and

Experience:

• Previous experience as an infection control nurse
• Licensed registered nurse / practical nurse
• Certification in infection prevention and control
• Experience in a skilled nursing home required

Responsibilities:

• Plan, evaluate, and revise the infection prevention and control system as needed.
• Develop an organizational culture conducive to establishing and maintaining good infection prevention control practices.
• Maintain knowledge of current medical (including CDC) regulatory and scientific procedures and literature related to infection prevention and control.
