Job Title: PRN Assisted Living CNA/CHHA

Position Overview

We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate PRN Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) to join our assisted living team. This position offers the flexibility to work on an as‑needed basis, ideal for individuals seeking a dynamic and rewarding role in elder care. As a PRN team member, you will provide essential support and care to our residents, ensuring their comfort and well-being in a respectful and nurturing environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver personalized care and assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.
  • Monitor and report any changes in residents' health or behavior to nursing staff promptly.
  • Support residents with mobility and exercise routines as recommended by healthcare professionals.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided and residents' condition.
  • Engage in meaningful interactions with residents, fostering a warm and supportive community atmosphere.
  • Assist with the upkeep of residents' living areas to ensure a clean and safe environment.
  • Adhere to all healthcare regulations and protocols to ensure the safety and dignity of residents.
  • Collaborate with fellow team members to deliver comprehensive care plans tailored to each resident's needs.
Qualifications
  • Current certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (CHHA) in the state of New Jersey.
  • Previous experience in an assisted living, nursing home, or healthcare setting is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Compassionate, patient, and empathetic demeanor.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • CPR and First Aid certification is a plus.
