The Midas Store Manager is responsible for business operations and store performance, including safety, efficiency, and profit/loss accountability. They promote customer satisfaction, retention, and growth of existing and new business. The Store Manager oversees overall operations concerning cost control, inventory management, environmental compliance, and safety. They provide strong and consistent leadership to cultivate and maintain a harmonious, collaborative, and highly productive work culture.
We are seeking a seasoned manager with an entrepreneurial spirit who will take responsibility for operations, financial performance, morale, and growth initiatives. The ideal candidate has a college degree or coursework (preferred), three years of experience in the automotive repair industry, supervisory/management/mentoring experience, a background in continuous improvement, P&L experience, and exceptional interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities- A minimum of 2 years of store or service manager experience
- General automotive knowledge
- Excellent customer service skills
- Good communication skills
- Strong POS computer and internet skills
- Leadership and team-building abilities
- Flexibility to work retail hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays
- Valid driver’s license
