Skilled Fabricator – Northeast Precast

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Fabricator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will use their expertise in fabrication to enhance manufacturing processes and maintain our reputation for excellence in product development.

• Lead a team to accomplish projects safely and accurately.
• Set up and run GMAW, SMAW, FCAW, GTAW, oxy‑fuel cutting, and handheld plasma/gouging operations.
• Lifting 10–30 lb weldments as required.
• Read, interpret, and follow blueprints and engineering plans to construct high‑quality parts and assemblies.
• Set up and operate tools and equipment necessary for the fabrication process.
• Measure, mark, cut, bend, and assemble materials to create the final product.
• Inspect and test finished products to ensure they conform to specifications.
• Align, fit, and assemble component parts using hand tools and fixtures.
• Repair faulty components and products in line with defects highlighted during inspection.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with company and safety regulations.
• Assist in the enhancement of fabrication methods, seeking efficiency and cost reduction.
• Communicate well with other departments and team members.

• Proven experience as a Fabricator or similar role within the manufacturing industry.
• Proficient in using electrical and manual equipment and measurement tools.
• Strong understanding of metallurgy and materials science.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
• Keen attention to detail and a result‑driven approach.
• High school diploma or equivalent; further education or certification in engineering or manufacturing is a plus.
