Labor & Delivery RN Job Details

• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2180–$2290
• Weekend Requirements:
  Every other weekend
• Holiday Requirements:
  Every other holiday

• RTO (Requested Time Off):
  No more than 3 days

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of recent experience as a Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN) within the last 6 months
• Active New Jersey or Compact RN License (pending licenses not accepted)
• BLS, NRP, and ACLS certifications (must not expire within 30 days of start date)
• Completion of full orientation is mandatory; rescheduling is not permitted

Labor & Delivery Nurse Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Labor & Delivery unit
• Monitor and assess mothers and newborns throughout the labor and delivery process
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Accurately document patient care and clinical interventions
• Participate in required orientation and ongoing clinical training (virtual and in-person)
• Comply with all hospital policies and procedures, including attendance and badge requirements
