Nights, 12-hour shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM, every other weekend and holiday.

Job Description
The Step Down RN will provide specialized care to patients requiring trach care, bariatric management, nocturnal ventilation, and stroke care. The nurse is responsible for managing patients in the Step Down and Progressive Care Unit with a standard ratio of 1:5, adjusting to 1:6 when floating to acute care.
Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care in the Step Down unit.

• Assist in the management and monitoring of patients with complex medical conditions.

• Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure patient-centered care.

• Float to Elmer as needed based on unit requirements.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Step Down/PCU unit.

• Active NJ nursing license or compact license.

• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS (AHA only).
