Base pay rangeGarden Greens, LLC is a licensed New Jersey cannabis company dedicated to ensuring a safe, secure, and compliant environment for our staff, customers, and facilities. We are seeking experienced, professional Security Guards with active SORA licenses to join our team.
Responsibilities- Monitor facility access points and verify identification of employees, visitors, and vendors.
- Conduct interior and exterior patrols to deter theft, diversion, and unauthorized access.
- Enforce company security policies and state cannabis regulations.
- Maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports.
- Observe and report suspicious activity, hazards, or violations to management.
- Respond quickly to alarms, emergencies, and security-related incidents.
- Provide professional customer service while maintaining a strong security presence.
- Support compliance with New Jersey Cannabis Regulatory Commission (CRC) security standards.
- Valid New Jersey SORA license – required.
- Minimum of 1–2 years of security guard experience (regulated industry preferred).
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Strong communication, observation, and reporting skills.
- Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods.
- Must pass a background check as required by NJ state cannabis laws.
- Availability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Previous experience in the cannabis industry or other highly regulated sectors.
- Familiarity with surveillance, access control, and alarm systems.
- CPR/First Aid certification.
