Sr Premium Billing Specialist III
Responsible for accurately balancing and reconciling health plan accounts receivable (AR). Researches, posts and reconciles cash receipts and AR premiums. The Premium Billing Specialist directs an assigned group.

Work Shift:
First (Days)
Full Time, Hybrid position at Sentara Health Plans, Virginia Beach.
Responsibilities- Accurately balance and reconcile health plan accounts receivable (AR).
- Research, post, and reconcile cash receipts and AR premiums.
- Direct an assigned team group.
- Provide mentorship/guidance to team.
- Perform accounting activities: accounts receivable, reconciliations, posting payments, write-offs, refunds, phone/customer service recovery.
- Utilize MS Teams, Outlook/Workday.
- Develop and create Excel spreadsheets, pivot tables, dashboards.
- High School Graduate or equivalent.
- No specific certification or licensure requirements.
- 5 years related experience required.
- Strong communication skills, accounting, accounts receivable, posting payments, experience with write-offs and refunds.
- Excel development/creation level experience.
- Experience with Outlook, Microsoft Teams, dashboards.
