About The Position Of Automotive MechanicMavis's automotive mechanics inspect, diagnose, and perform a wide variety of automotive services on customers' vehicles. They handle undercar repairs such as brakes, struts, and shocks, complete state‑mandated inspections, change oil and filters, check fluids, replace worn parts, and dismount, mount, rotate, and balance tires.

Qualifications- At least 18 years of age.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Minimum 2 years of experience and/or training in automotive repair and maintenance, or a combination of education, training, and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the job duties.
- Extensive toolbox of personal tools used in performing undercar repairs.
- Preferred:
State inspection license(s). - Preferred: ASE Certifications in Automotive Maintenance and Light Repair (G1), Suspension and Steering (A4), and Brakes (A5).
Automotive mechanics must stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, climb, pull, reach, and perform repeated movements consistent with vehicle maintenance and repair. Mechanics regularly lift and/or move items weighing over 50 pounds.
