Job Description

The Business Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the day‑to‑day operations of the business. This role involves strategic planning, process improvement, and coordination with various departments to ensure efficient and effective business operations. The candidate will work closely with senior management to develop and implement operational strategies that align with the organization’s goals.

Requirements
  • U.S. Citizenship required.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
  • This position is remote but may require occasional onsite meetings in McLean, VA.
  • You can be based out of the following states: AZ, DC, FL, GA, OH, ME, MD, SC, TX, UT, VA, NC, OK, WV.
Qualifications And Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • At least 8 years of relevant experience in business operations or a related role.
  • Strong understanding of operational management principles, methodologies, and tools.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and operational management software.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in a government contracting environment.
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies such as Agile or Lean.
  • Familiarity with data analysis and reporting tools.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency and effectiveness across the organization.
  • Collaborate with senior management to align operational plans with organizational goals.
  • Identify and analyze areas for process improvement and implement changes to enhance operations.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of operational processes and make recommendations for improvements.
  • Oversee and manage the operations team, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members.
  • Manage resources efficiently, including personnel, equipment, and budget, to ensure optimal allocation and utilization.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure resources are used effectively and align with business priorities.
  • Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor the success of operational initiatives.
  • Generate regular performance reports and present findings to senior management.
  • Act as a liaison between various departments to facilitate communication and coordination of activities.
  • Ensure stakeholders are kept informed of operational developments and changes.
  • Identify potential risks to operations and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in business operations.
  • Continuously seek opportunities to improve operational processes and methodologies.
Compensation and Benefits

Salary: $118,060 - $148,448 per year.
