Environment, Health and Safety Manager
- Construction

Base pay range: $/yr - $/yr

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement, and maintain EHS policies, programs, and procedures in compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory agencies
  • Lead site‑specific safety plans (SSSP), job hazard analyses (JHA), and risk assessments
  • Conduct regular job site safety audits, inspections, and field observations
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA standards, including fall protection, excavation, confined space, crane operations, and PPE
  • Investigate accidents, incidents, near misses, and property damage; prepare detailed reports and corrective action plans
  • Deliver safety training, toolbox talks, and orientation for employees, subcontractors, and site visitors
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory inspections and audits
  • Track safety metrics, OSHA logs, incident rates, and leading indicators
  • Collaborate with project managers, superintendents, and field leadership to integrate safety into daily operations
  • Oversee subcontractor safety compliance and enforce safety standards
  • Manage environmental compliance including spill prevention, waste management, stormwater, and hazardous materials
  • Lead emergency response planning and drills
Required Qualifications
  • Certified Safety Professional (CSP) – Required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Environmental Science, Construction Management, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Minimum 5+ years of EHS experience in construction or industrial environments
  • Strong working knowledge of OSHA regulations and construction safety standards
  • Proven experience conducting safety training and site audits
  • Ability to read construction drawings and understand construction processes
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and documentation skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and safety management systems
Preferred Qualifications
  • OSHA 30 or OSHA 500/510 certification
  • CHST or other safety‑related certifications
  • Experience supporting multi‑site or large‑scale construction projects
  • No much travel
