Front Desk Agent – Part‑Time

Location:

The Founders Inn and Spa, Tapestry Collection by Hilton, Virginia Beach, VA.

Front Desk Agents play a key role in creating the first and last impressions guests have of the resort, providing welcoming service, and ensuring seamless daily operations at the Conference Center.

• Perform all room clerk tasks, including efficient check‑in and check‑out of guests.
• Handle cashier duties: accurate posting of charges to individuals and groups, and maintenance of cash receipts and hotel banks.
• Manage reservation functions, entering and updating group files.
• Provide concierge services, advising guests on local entertainment.
• Adhere to Resort policies, reporting any violations to Human Resources.
• Resolve guest complaints, disputes, grievances, and conflicts.
• Maintain a positive working relationship with all Departments.
• Monitor, sell, and post items from the sundries shop.
• Collect guest feedback/comment cards enthusiastically.
• Maintain a friendly disposition and professional demeanor at all times.

• Work any assigned shift/work schedule.
• Perform any other tasks assigned by Management.

• High‑school diploma or equivalent experience/training.
• Ability to accomplish necessary tasks on a computer.
• Effective communication skills in English.
