Job Description
Applications are invited for the part‑time position Adjunct Instructor of Computer Science starting in August 2026 at Virginia Wesleyan University.
A Ph.D. or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a closely related area is preferred. Candidates with a Master’s degree and 18 graduate semester hours in Computer Science will be considered. Experience teaching college‑level mathematics is preferred.

Duties and Responsibilities- Teach lower‑level Computer Science courses (Java)
- Comply with FERPA regulations.
- Coordinate with Academic Support Services as needed.
- The department will provide syllabi and other course materials as needed.
- Ph.D. or Master’s with at least 18 graduate hours in Computer Science.
- College teaching experience is preferred.
