Part-time Enrollment Representatives

Overview

The Center for Enrollment Services at Virginia Wesleyan University is seeking Part-time Enrollment Representatives to work in the Enrollment Outreach Center. Position entails informing prospective Virginia Wesleyan University students of scholarships with a focus on prospective students for our pre-nursing program. This is an exciting time as we launch our first pre-nursing class following the merger of Sentara College of Health Sciences and Virginia Wesleyan University!

Location:

Virginia Beach, VA

Monday – Thursday 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM (16 hours per week)

$15.00 per hour

• Engage prospective students in conversations about the Center for Enrollment Services and the pre-nursing program.
• Inform prospective students about scholarships and admissions requirements.
• Accurately collect, relay, and track information; maintain records and respond to inquiries in a timely manner.
• Demonstrate dynamic, professional telephone communication; provide friendly, outgoing service.

• Must have a strong belief in the importance of Education
• Customer Service/Call Center experience (preferred)
• Previous Admissions experience a plus
• Ability to engage prospective students in conversation about Sentara College of Health Sciences or Virginia Wesleyan University
• Must possess dynamic, professional and articulate telephone communication skills
• Must demonstrate ability to engage prospective students in a positive, friendly and outgoing manner while accurately collecting, relaying and tracking information
• Must possess strong multitasking skills, typing skills required
• Must be dependable, punctual and customer service oriented
