$50,000.00/yr - $70,000.00/yr

Provide drafting and design drawing support for modernization and upgrade initiatives for Navy Ship Self Defense Systems (SSDS).

• Familiar with ASME drawing standards.
• Utilize government provided redline drawings to update technical data packages (TDPs) and drawings for final release.
• Provide quality control checks on various TDPs.
• Update and maintain drawing tracking databases.
• Update current 3D models in Inventor to capture changes.
• Support onsite drawing activities at Dam Neck Annex Base.

• 3+ years of experience with naval systems and/or SSDS and a high school diploma.
• Experience working with Microsoft Office Suite (Project and Excel).
• Experience working with AutoCAD and Inventor software.

• Certification from an accredited Technical School in the Drafting/Design field (preferred).
• Experience with Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) (preferred).
• Experience working on Dam Neck Annex Base (preferred).

• Active DoD Secret clearance and ability to maintain a clearance.
• Maintain clearance eligibility to access military facilities, naval shipyards, and private shipyards.

• Less than 10%.
• Must obtain and maintain appropriate identification credentials such as REAL  position requires domestic flight or access to secure federal facilities/military bases.

• Work in office, industrial, or shipboard environment.
• Lift and move materials within one-man lift guidelines.
• Perform site surveys and carry a laptop computer.
