The Staff Accountant is responsible for ensuring all general ledger activity is accurately and timely recorded in compliance with GAAP and all federal and state rules and regulations. This member of the Finance team plays a critical role in maintaining financial integrity through detailed reconciliation, reporting, and analysis.

• General Ledger and Financial Accounting:
  Maintains the company’s general ledger, ensuring accurate and timely reconciliation of all subsidiary accounts. Performs reconciliation and review of accounts related to OPO Tissue Recovery Partners to ensure accuracy and proper financial reporting. Calculates rebates in accordance with contract terms and records related accruals. Reviews pricing controls to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with established financial policies. Prepares and posts adjusting journal entries as needed ensuring all supporting documentation is properly maintained to support the integrity of financial data.
  
  Supports month‑end and year‑end close processes to ensure the integrity of financial statements and compliance with GAAP.
• Commissions Processing:
  Calculates and processes periodic commissions for Life Net Health internal and external partners accurately and on schedule. Collaborates with cross‑functional departments to verify data, resolve discrepancies, and ensure adherence to established contracts, compensation structures, and internal controls.
• Fixed Assets and Property Accounting:
  Manages accounting for company assets, including acquisitions, disposals and transfers. Maintains the property ledger, calculates depreciation, and ensures adherence with capitalization policies. Supports fixed asset audits and provides accurate reporting to support business and regulatory requirements.
• Audits and Compliance:
  Oversees quarterly consignment audits in collaboration with Strategic Services and Customer Experience, ensuring financial accuracy and completeness. Supports the annual financial statement audit by preparing schedules, providing documentation, and assisting with auditor requests. Prepares and submits compliance reporting in accordance with federal and state transparency requirements. Provides financial support to operational leaders to help them make informed decisions and improve processes.
• Tax and Regulatory Reporting:
  Assists with year‑end tax compliance and state reporting by gathering, analyzing, and reconciling financial data for all applicable companies. Prepares the Medicare cost report, including related monthly accruals, and ensures all reporting aligns with applicable regulatory standards.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Two (2) years of Accounting experience.
• Two (2) years of experience with analysis and interpreting complex financial data and reports.

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
• One (1) year of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• One (1) year of Experience in SAP.
