We are seeking a talented, professional, and guest-focused Licensed Nail Technician to join The Flowering Almond Spa, our full-service spa located inside The Founders Inn & Spa.

This is a tipped position with a base pay of $12.77 per hour, plus tips. Our ideal candidate has a passion for wellness and hospitality, takes pride in delivering exceptional nail services, and understands that every guest interaction is an opportunity to create a relaxing and memorable experience.

• Provide professional natural nail manicures and pedicures.
• Perform nail care, artificial nail applications, and hand and foot treatments within the scope of your license and training.
• Consult with guests to understand their preferences and personalize their spa experience.
• Deliver warm, attentive, and professional service consistent with our hospitality standards.
• Prepare treatment areas and equipment before each service.
• Properly clean, disinfect, and sanitize instruments, equipment, and treatment areas.
• Complete required opening and closing responsibilities.
• Maintain a clean, organized, relaxing, and professional salon environment.
• Maintain appropriate inventory and supplies.
• Stay current on nail-care techniques, products, trends, and industry developments.
• Participate in product knowledge and professional-development training.
• Recommend appropriate spa services and retail products based on guest needs.
• Assist throughout the Spa and Fitness Center as operational needs require.

• Current Virginia Nail Technician/Manicurist or Cosmetology license applicable to the services performed.
• Training and demonstrated ability to perform natural nail manicures and pedicures.
• Previous professional nail-care experience; one year preferred.
• Strong attention to sanitation, cleanliness, and guest safety.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Professional appearance and a genuine commitment to exceptional hospitality.
• Dependability and punctuality.
• Ability to sit for extended periods and lift up to approximately 15 pounds.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Ability to work a flexible hospitality schedule, including weekends and holidays.
