Trauma Registrar
Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital is seeking an experienced Trauma Registrar for our ED Trauma Department.

Work ShiftFull Time, 40 hrs, Days (First/Days)
Job Description- Prepares spreadsheets, reports, lists, and matrixes for use in operations of department.
- Reviews confidential, statistical data for accuracy and safeguards all confidential facts and figures at all times.
- High school diploma required; graduate of a Health Information Management (HIM) program highly preferred.
- CSTR or CAISS certification preferred – expected to acquire within 3 years.
- HIM trained with trauma registrar experience.
- Experience with Epic and ICD coding.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience required.
