Sentara is hiring an IT Specialist Ambulatory Pharmacist
Location: Hybrid (Onsite days Located at Sentara Park
- Virginia Beach, VA)
Status: Full Time (40 hrs/wk)
Shift: First
Hours: Days
The Pharmacy Specialist, IT serves as a liaison between the pharmacy department and the IT team to ensure the effective implementation, optimization, and support of pharmacy-related technologies. This role involves analyzing pharmacy workflows, configuring systems, providing technical support, and participating in projects that enhance patient safety, medication management, and operational efficiency.
Education- Bachelors Level Degree in Pharmacy (Required)
- Doctorate Level Degree in Pharmacy (Preferred)
- Virginia Pharmacist License (Required)
- 2 Years of Pharmacist experience in a Hospital or Clinical Setting
- Experience in one of the following areas is required :
Technical Expertise in Epic, Developing projects with IT teams, Hospital Protocol Development
