Virginia Department of Veterans Services is hiring a Pharmacy Technician to work under the supervision of the Pharmacy Manager in providing safe, accurate, and timely distribution of medication to residents. This role supports daily operations, including prescription processing and clerical assistance to the department.

Base pay: $30,000–$40,000 per year (actual pay based on skills and experience).

Pharmacy Technician will work under the supervision of the Pharmacy Manager in providing safe, accurate, and timely distribution of medication to residents. This role supports daily operations, including prescription processing and clerical assistance to the department.

• Knowledge of pharmacy terminology and medication names
• Knowledge of pharmacy laws, regulations, and safety standards
• Knowledge of prescription processing and procedures
• Knowledge of proper storage, handling, and disposal of medications
• Knowledge of HIPAA and patient privacy requirements
• Ability to use pharmacy software and computer systems
