This role supports daily operations, including prescription processing and clerical assistance to the department.

Pharmacy Technician will work under the supervision of the Pharmacy Manager in providing safe, accurate, and timely distribution of medication to residents. This role supports daily operations, including prescription processing and clerical assistance to the department.
Minimum Qualifications- Knowledge of pharmacy terminology and medication names
- Knowledge of pharmacy laws, regulations, and safety standards
- Knowledge of prescription processing and procedures
- Knowledge of proper storage, handling, and disposal of medications
- Knowledge of HIPAA and patient privacy requirements
- Ability to use pharmacy software and computer systems
