Sentara is hiring a Surgical Assistant II at Sentara Virginia Beach General, in Virginia Beach Virginia.
OverviewThe Surgical Assistant II works as a 1st or 2nd assistant to the surgeon and under the direction/supervision of that surgeon and in accordance with hospital policy and appropriate laws and regulations. The Surgical Assistant works as part of a multidisciplinary surgical team, collaborating with nurses, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care.
Education- Surgical Assistant Trade School Degree REQUIRED
- Virginia Surgical Assistant License REQUIRED
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification REQUIRED
- 3 years SA experience required
– Allied Health. Surgical Assist. First Assist. Surgical Assistant. NBSTSA. Certified First Assist.
