Overview
The IT Specialty Analyst – Epic Case Management/Population Health supports, optimizes, and enhances Epic applications to enable inpatient case management, care coordination, discharge planning, and utilization management workflows. The analyst partners closely with clinical, operational, and IT teams to ensure Epic solutions effectively support patient care, population health initiatives, and regulatory requirements.
ResponsibilitiesThe analyst will analyze workflows, configure and maintain system builds, test upgrades, and provide ongoing support to ensure high-quality, efficient care delivery across the continuum.
EducationBachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Healthcare, Nursing, or a related field (Preferred). Experience in lieu of bachelor’s degree 3 years of relevant experience with a degree. 5+ years of relevant experience without a degree.
Certification / LicensureEpic Case Management Certification or Accreditation (Preferred). Epic Clinical Documentation (Clin Doc) or Healthy Planet Certification or Accreditation with relevant experience (Preferred).
Experience- Experience supporting and optimizing Epic Case Management, Clin Doc, or Healthy Planet applications
- Experience working with inpatient case managers, care coordinators, and utilization management teams
- Experience supporting clinical workflows including care coordination, discharge planning, and patient transitions
- Experience performing workflow analysis, system build, testing, and optimization within Epic
- Experience supporting incident, change, and release management for clinical applications
