Front Desk Receptionist – Garner Hotel Virginia Beach North

We’re looking for a sharp, reliable, and guest-focused Front Desk Receptionist to join our team at Garner Hotel Virginia Beach North. This role is the heart of our guest experience—you’ll be the first point of contact for our guests, handling check-ins, reservations, and questions with professionalism and warmth.

• Greet and assist guests in a friendly, professional manner.
• Handle check-ins, check-outs, and reservations using Hotel Key PMS (training available if needed).
• Answer and direct phone calls, manage messages, and assist with guest inquiries.
• Manage multiple tasks at once while keeping accuracy and speed.
• Handle guest concerns calmly, including difficult or aggressive situations, and find solutions.
• Maintain a clean and welcoming front desk area.
• Support the team with administrative tasks as needed.

• Experience with Hotel Key PMS (or ability to learn very quickly).
• Strong multitasking and time management skills.
• Sharp, fast-working, detail-oriented mindset.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Reliable—able to come to work on time, every shift, with no unnecessary call-offs.
• Calm under pressure and able to handle challenging guest interactions professionally.
• Trustworthy and loyal, with a team-first attitude.
• Previous hotel front desk or customer service experience preferred.
