Position Summary The Laundry Attendant plays an essential role in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and quality for hotel linens. This position is responsible for the efficient washing, drying, folding, and organization of linens while ensuring quality control, safety, and productivity standards are consistently met. Flexibility, attention to detail, and teamwork are key to success in this role.

• Receive, sort, weigh, and process dirty linens according to machine capacity and detergent requirements
• Operate commercial washing and drying equipment, monitoring cycles for proper settings and performance
• Transfer linens between washers and dryers while ensuring proper load balance
• Inspect linens for cleanliness, softness, and overall quality, reporting concerns to the Laundry Supervisor
• Hand-fold linens or operate ironers and automatic folding equipment as assigned
• Neatly stack and load clean linens onto carts for transport and delivery, ensuring linens remain clean and organized
• Maintain separation of linens by hotel/property to prevent cross-mixing
• Participate in daily pre-shift meetings within the Housekeeping Department
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area and ensure equipment is properly shut down and cleaned at the end of each shift
• Report equipment malfunctions or safety concerns promptly to the Laundry Supervisor
• Work scheduled shifts that may include weekends and holidays to support operational needs

• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• English communication skills preferred

• No prior experience required; training provided
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous laundry, housekeeping, or valet experience is a plus but not required
