Lesner Inn is a waterfront event venue specializing in food and beverage–driven weddings, corporate events, and private celebrations. We host approximately 100–115 events per year and pride ourselves on hospitality, operational excellence, and strong client relationships.

The Senior Event Sales & Planning Manager leads event sales, client experience, and pre‑event planning while collaborating with kitchen, banquet, and venue operations teams to ensure flawless execution. This role balances sales performance, detailed planning, and event‑day leadership.

• Manage incoming inquiries and assigned lead flow
• Conduct venue tours and manage the booking process
• Prepare proposals, contracts, floor plans, and BEOs
• Lead tastings and planning meetings
• Oversee planning from contract through execution
• Serve as Event Manager or Day-Of Coordinator for high touch events
• Provide additional on‑site leadership support for events managed by junior team members
• Coordinate with kitchen, bar, banquet, and venue operations teams
• Mentor and support junior sales and planning staff
• Assist with annual open house and sales materials updates
• Subcontract vendor services for clients
• Maintain positive, professional vendor relationships

• 5+ years in event sales, hospitality, catering, or venue management
• Strong food & beverage knowledge
• Exceptional organization and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple events simultaneously
• Weekend availability required

• $70,000–$75,000 base salary
