Position: Human Resources (HR) Manager
Description We are looking for an experienced Human Resources (HR) Manager to support business leaders and employees across a growing organization in Virginia Beach, Virginia. This role combines strategic partnership with hands-on execution across talent planning, employee relations, HR operations, and people programs. The ideal candidate brings strong judgment, a data-informed mindset, and the ability to strengthen employee experience while helping leaders make effective workforce decisions.

Responsibilities:

- Partner with department leaders to shape staffing plans, organizational design, and talent strategies that support current priorities and long-term business goals.

- Guide recruitment and position planning efforts to ensure hiring decisions reflect operational needs, team structure, and future capability requirements.

- Work closely with compensation and benefits partners to support competitive offers, equitable pay practices, and programs that improve attraction and retention.

- Enhance onboarding and early employee experiences to help new hires become productive quickly and build strong engagement from the start.

- Advise managers on employee relations matters, addressing concerns with consistency, professionalism, and compliance with employment standards and company policies.

- Monitor people-related risks such as performance issues, turnover concerns, engagement trends, and leadership challenges, then recommend practical solutions.

- Oversee HR processes and systems governance to maintain reliable employee data, efficient workflows, and scalable operational practices.

- Prepare workforce reports and analyze metrics related to headcount, hiring, attrition, engagement, and labor costs to support leadership decision-making.

- Identify opportunities to simplify HR procedures, improve service delivery, and support annual planning activities such as budgeting, merit reviews, and workforce planning.

- Provide day-to-day HR support for employees, including inquiry resolution, vendor coordination, and assistance for expatriate staff to ensure a consistent employee experience. Requirements - Bachelor's degree required.

- At least 5 years of progressive Human Resources experience.

- Demonstrated success partnering with senior leaders to deliver HR initiatives and business-aligned people solutions.

- Strong ability to manage priorities, execute assigned objectives, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

- Experience leading projects, coordinating multiple work streams, and maintaining quality deliverables within expected timelines.

- Ability to gather, interpret, and summarize workforce data to produce clear and useful insights.

- Working knowledge of employee relations, HR administration, onboarding, recruiting, compensation and benefits, HR compliance, and HR systems.
