The SOC Analyst will monitor the SIEM platform, triage and analyze security alerts, perform incident response, and assist with change management and configuration control of the SIEM system.

Job TitleSecurity Operations Center (SOC) Analyst – Virginia Beach, VA
Qualifications- Associate’s degree
- 3‑4 years of related experience
- Secret clearance and eligibility to obtain and maintain TS/SCI
- TS/SCI clearance required
- Continuous monitoring of the SIEM platform and triage/analysis of security alerts
- Perform incident response procedures using SIEM tools in line with industry best practices
- Conduct threat hunting and eliminate adversary or insider threats on the network
- Gather threat intelligence, reported incidents, emerging threats, and vulnerabilities via open‑source and all‑source intelligence
- Support configuration management for information system security software, hardware, and firmware
- Assist with system management activities, including dashboards, alert tuning, and CIM compliance
- Collaborate with peers and CSOC team to establish consistent response practices and prioritize security events
- IAT Level II or CNDSP Level II certification required at the time of employment
- CSSP Analyst certification required at the time of employment
