Position: Logistician-Configuration Manager III with Security Clearance
Responsibilities & Qualifications RESPONSIBILITIES
* Lead and facilitate Configuration Control Boards (CCBs) or similar governance bodies to review, approve, and document configuration changes.

* Implement and enforce configuration management processes for computer-based systems, software, network devices, and documentation in compliance with DoD and Navy standards.

* Maintain comprehensive oversight of system configurations, including security baselines, software patching, and documentation control.

* Support change management initiatives by ensuring all changes are properly evaluated, coordinated, and communicated to stakeholders.

* Ensure proper version control and traceability of changes to all configuration items (CIs).

* Collaborate with system engineers, cybersecurity personnel, and program managers to maintain accurate and updated system configurations throughout the system lifecycle.

* Track configuration status and provide reports, audits, and updates as required for compliance and mission assurance. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
* Active Secret security clearance

* High School diploma, vocational school diploma, or GED certificate
* Minimum of 5 years of full-time professional experience in configuration management, with demonstrated expertise in:
* Chairing a Configuration Control Board (CCB) or equivalent decision-making body.

* Managing configurations for computer-based systems, network devices, software applications, security documentation, and system security patches.

* Providing comprehensive change management and product configuration guidance in support of DoD or Navy programs.
