CYBERSECURITY ENGINEER SENIOR

Responsibilities- As a Cybersecurity Engineer Principal, contribute to Integrated Undersea Surveillance Systems by helping design secure networks and applying cybersecurity practices.
- Lead/Manage/Support — assist leading a team of cybersecurity SMEs in securing various customer networks.
- Drive key outcomes, innovate, and help the team resolve challenges.
- Understand and use essential tools for handling files, directories, command-line environments, and documentation.
- Create simple shell scripts.
- Operate running systems, including booting into different run levels, identifying processes, starting and stopping virtual machines, and controlling services.
- Configure local storage using partitions and logical volumes.
- Create and configure file systems and attributes (permissions, encryption, ACLs, and network file systems).
- Deploy, configure, and maintain systems, including software installation, updates, and core services.
- Manage users and groups.
- Manage security, including basic firewall and SELinux configuration.
- Perform basic container management.
- Education:
Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science or equivalent. - Experience:
5+ years of related experience. - Technical skills:
Proficient in DoD cybersecurity policies and procedures;
Certified IAM Level III and RHSA certification. - Security clearance level:
Secret - US citizenship required

Salary Information: The likely salary range for this position is $119,000 - $161,000. This range is not a guarantee of compensation; salary is determined by experience, location, and contractual requirements and may fall outside this range.
