CYBERSECURITY ENGINEER SENIOR

• As a Cybersecurity Engineer Principal, contribute to Integrated Undersea Surveillance Systems by helping design secure networks and applying cybersecurity practices.
• Lead/Manage/Support — assist leading a team of cybersecurity SMEs in securing various customer networks.
• Drive key outcomes, innovate, and help the team resolve challenges.
• Understand and use essential tools for handling files, directories, command-line environments, and documentation.
• Create simple shell scripts.
• Operate running systems, including booting into different run levels, identifying processes, starting and stopping virtual machines, and controlling services.
• Configure local storage using partitions and logical volumes.
• Create and configure file systems and attributes (permissions, encryption, ACLs, and network file systems).
• Deploy, configure, and maintain systems, including software installation, updates, and core services.
• Manage users and groups.
• Manage security, including basic firewall and SELinux configuration.
• Perform basic container management.

• Education:
  
  Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science or equivalent.
• Experience:
  
  5+ years of related experience.
• Technical skills:
  Proficient in DoD cybersecurity policies and procedures;
  Certified IAM Level III and RHSA certification.
• Security clearance level:
  Secret
• US citizenship required
• Role requirements:
  
  Primarily on-site, some travel may be required.

Salary Information: The likely salary range for this position is $119,000 - $161,000. This range is not a guarantee of compensation; salary is determined by experience, location, and contractual requirements and may fall outside this range.
