• Court Representation
  :
  Attend hearings and trials throughout the VA Beach area;
  Representing clients in civil collection matters.
• Case Management
  :
  Review and update case files, manage litigation calendars, and ensure timely progression of cases through the legal system.
• Negotiations
  :
  Engage in negotiations to resolve pending litigation efficiently, aiming for favorable outcomes for clients.
• Document Preparation and Signing
  :
  Prepare legal documents and pleadings, and execute necessary filings to support case advancement.
• Compliance and Oversight
  :
  Ensure adherence to legal and ethical standards, and oversee the management of exceptions and queues within the litigation process.

• Education and Licensing
  : A Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree and active membership in VA.
• Experience
  :
  While one year of civil litigation experience is preferred, the firm offers opportunities for attorneys to gain experience in this area.
• Skills
  :
  Proficiency in legal research tools such as Westlaw and Lexis Nexis, strong negotiation abilities, and experience in supervising legal processes are advantageous.
