Regional Vice President – Liberty Military Housing

Overview

The Regional Vice President (RVP) leads the multi‑family residential communities within a specified region, driving operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and financial performance. The RVP provides strategic direction and oversight to regional teams, works closely with government partners, and ensures all operations meet Liberty Military Housing’s quality standards.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee all aspects of asset management, finance, operations, leasing, and marketing for the regional portfolio.
  • Develop and manage the regional budget, ensuring achievement of operational, financial, and occupancy goals.
  • Conduct regular property visits to provide on‑site teams with recommendations and observations to improve marketing, leasing, and property performance.
  • Maintain active communication with government partners and other stakeholders regarding regional operational issues.
  • Monitor capital expenditure projects and collaborate with the Asset Management and Construction teams on project priority and value.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce expenses, enhance service quality, and optimize property operations.
  • Prepare, review, and approve all required reports, including occupancy, work‑order, make‑ready, purchase‑order, and payroll reports.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies, including Fair Housing, OSHA safety regulations, and local laws.
  • Lead emergency response and incident reporting efforts for properties in the region.
Leadership
  • Recruit, interview, and approve hiring of regional staff, including office and maintenance personnel and contract employees.
  • Provide ongoing coaching, performance reviews, and development plans for the regional team.
  • Manage performance appraisals and administer administrative processes related to personnel.
  • Ensure all team members are trained on and compliant with company policies, safety standards, and Fair Housing requirements.
  • Promote a positive, collaborative environment that encourages teamwork, engagement, and employee ownership.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 10 years of property‑management experience, including supervisory responsibilities; multi‑site or regional role preferred with a portfolio of 5,000+ units.
  • Demonstrated success in leadership, staff development, customer service, problem‑solving, decision‑making, and multi‑tasking.
  • Experience managing a staff of 200+ employees.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; significant related work experience will be considered.
  • Certified Property Manager (CPM) preferred.
  • Must obtain Fair Housing certification within 2 weeks of employment.
  • Strong budgeting and financial‑operations acumen.
  • Excellent communication skills with military partners, vendors, residents, and senior management.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and property‑management software (e.g., Yardi, Payscan).
  • Availability for a flexible schedule, including weekends, off‑hours, and emergencies.
  • Valid driver’s license and personal vehicle required; ability to travel to regional locations for work is essential.

Salary Range: $210,000 – $230,000 plus bonus.
