New Realm Brewing Company is an American craft brewery started in 2016 by co-founders Carey Falcone, Bob Powers, and Mitch Steele. The company primarily brews for packaging & distribution, with some beer destined for its restaurant and beer garden. We are seeking a brewer to work directly under our Head Brewer who can adapt and be creative under pressure, exceed expectations, and aspire to become a beer expert and advocate.

Full-time, hourly Brewer. Opportunity for overtime in our Virginia Beach production facility. Hands‑on, all‑encompassing production position. Ideal for someone with brewing experience, especially with automated processing equipment, to advance their career under our Step Wage program, offering upward mobility.

• Operation of Mueller 50bbl 6‑vessel Brew House (MM, LT, K1, K2, WP, HB)
• Rack line CIP/SIP with wort transfer
• Grain & raw material handling
• CIP/SIP of brewery vessels
• COP of parts & brewery equipment
• Yeast counting/harvest, pitching & health management
• Fermentation & process data tracking in our QA/QC database

• At least 1+ year’s experience in a brewery environment
• Understanding of physical demands of a manufacturing position
• Strong, self‑motivated work ethic
• Work/stand 8‑10 hours a day
• Ability to work rotating shift schedules, nights, weekends, and holidays
• Safety minded
• Respect for others in a team environment
• Observes and adapts; critical thinking skills
• Time management, organizational skills, attention to detail
• Willingness to help outside one’s lane for the benefit of the team
• General mechanical aptitude
• Forklift & scissor‑lift experience preferred
• Brewing diploma/certificate preferred

High School or better is preferred but not required.

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to effectively present our menu to guests and answer questions. Must be able to speak English.

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one‑ or two‑step instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
