A Packager is responsible for preparing and packaging parts according to the Bill of Materials (BOM) and preparing them for shipping. The role involves working during the weekend, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and accurately.

• Carefully inspect completed parts to ensure they meet quality standards before painting, checking for defects or inconsistencies.
• Package the painted parts according to the Bill of Materials (BOM), selecting appropriate packaging materials and methods.
• Place packaged parts in designated areas for shipping, ensuring all parts are correctly labeled and organized.
• Use basic problem-solving techniques to address any routine issues that arise during the packaging process.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisors, varying depending on the needs of the production line.

• Experience in packaging, production, and inspection.
• Ability to use general production skills including labeling and packing.
• Competence in operating small hand tools or willingness to learn.
• Ability to read work orders and instructions.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Physical ability to lift, pack, stack, and wrap up to 50 pounds regularly.

Work a weekend day shift from Friday to Sunday, 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM, in a non-climate controlled production environment.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Virginia Beach, VA.

The pay range for this position is $18.25 - $18.35/hr.
