Sentara Health is currently hiring an RN to join the 2S Oncology team at Virginia Beach General Hospital. The position offers up to a $10,000 sign‑on bonus for experienced nurses and a $3,750 sign‑on for new graduates.

The Registered Nursing (RN) is responsible for performing a competent level of nursing care, following the nursing process and the standards of practice. The RN utilizes assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, coordination of care, teaching, health promotion, and evaluation. The role requires critical thinking, ethics, culturally congruent practice, collaboration, leadership, education, evidence‑based practice, and quality improvement.

The 2 South Oncology unit at Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital is a 26‑bed unit that provides care for all cancers, including leukemia, lymphoma, radiation, gynecologic cancers, hematologic disorders, and end‑of‑life patients. The unit supports the fight against cancer.

Work Shift:

Third (Nights), 7 p.m. – 7 a.m. (part‑time, 24 hours)

Up to a $10,000 sign‑on bonus for experienced nurses or $3,750 for new graduates.

• ADN required, BSN or higher preferred.

• Virginia or compact multistate RN license in good standing.
