• Assignment Duration: 9 weeks (Start: 8/10/2025 – End: 10/12/2025)
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1,770 - $1,820

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license – Virginia or compact state preferred
• Minimum 1 year of recent Telemetry nursing experience
• BLS certification (American Heart Association preferred)
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts in a fast-paced hospital environment
• Strong communication, clinical assessment, and critical thinking skills
• Experience in Medicine, Same Day Surgery, Detox, Bone Marrow Transplant, Mental Health, or IDD units is a plus

Telemetry Nurse Responsibilities

• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms for patients on the Telemetry unit
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver high-quality patient care
• Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic health record (EHR)
• Educate patients and families on care plans, cardiac monitoring, and health management
• Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and initiate appropriate nursing interventions
