Wellness Nurse

• Accurately follow the resident MAR to ensure that medications are given out according to the Physician’s orders.
• Understand and follow the “Six rights of medication administration” and all of Bickford’s policies and procedures regarding medication management.
• Understand and appropriately utilize the eMAR system for medication administration.
• Communicate appropriately with clinical leadership for clarification and direction regarding resident medication administration and care.
• Provide direct resident care and supervise the work of non‑licensed team members and other areas of the branch as appropriate.
• Demonstrate the Bickford Mission “Whatever it Takes” to all other team members on shift.

• Hold an active license as an LPN or Registered Nurse in good standing.
• Be willing to take additional training or education that specific states may require.
• Have CPR and First Aid certifications.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Possess written and verbal communication skills.
• Be competent in organizational and time‑management skills.
• Demonstrate good judgment, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills.
• Be able to use or learn Bickford’s eMAR system to administer medications; willing to learn new applications.
