Shift: Full-Time (36 hours), Weekend Nights (Friday-Sunday)
ResponsibilitiesThe Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for performing competent nursing care, guided by the nursing process which includes assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, care coordination, teaching, health promotion, and evaluation. The RN adheres to professional standards encompassing ethics, culturally congruent practice, communication, collaboration, leadership, education, evidence-based practice/nursing research, quality, evaluation, resource utilization, and environmental health. The RN must possess the clinical knowledge and skills required by their specific clinical area.
Education- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required;
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher preferred.
- Virginia or multistate RN license in good standing.
- Emergency Care certifications: ACLS & PALS or ENPC within 1 year of hire.
- All direct care RNs must have BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
- Hospital setting RN experience preferred.
- Emergency Department experience preferred.
