As Director of Nursing - DON (RN
- Registered Nurse), you will:
- Develop and maintain nursing service goals and standards of practice
- Participate in nursing department staffing (recruit, select, assign, orient, in-service, supervise, evaluate, retain, terminate)
- Collaborate with the Administrator and Center leadership to meet Center goals
- Coordinates nursing services with other services such as medical, rehabilitation, social services, and activities
- Administer and evaluate all nursing service programs to maintain standards of patient care
- Registered Nurse):
- Current RN license in good standing with the Virginia Department of Health Professions
- Current CPR Certification
- Five years' experience in a nursing leadership role
- Long-Term/Rehab/Memory Care experience (preferred)

Qualifications:QUALIFICATIONS:
- Current RN license in good standing with the Virginia Department of Health Professions.
- Five years of experience in nursing leadership role.
- Long-term care experience preferred.
- Strong commitment to patients, employees, and innovative care delivery.
- Ability to build strong teams.
- Ability to motivate, develop caring relationships, and communicate effectively.
- Current CPR Healthcare Provider certification.
- Prolonged periods standing, walking, working and frequently pulling, pushing, and bending
- Must be able to lift 25 pounds at a time
- Must be able to move 150 pounds with assistance
