This position works collaboratively with the ED team caring for patients admitted to a med/surg level of care awaiting a room (admission boarders). This is a 41-bed Level III Trauma ED with 6 beds dedicated to a lock down psychiatric screening and treatment area. We are a stroke certified ED and receive STEMI and psychiatric patients. The ED treats about 150 patients per day with a dedicated radiology suite in the ED for plain film and CT imaging.

We have a diverse nursing and ED Tech team.

• Associates, Bachelors, Masters, or diploma in the Nursing Field required

• Virginia or Compact Multi-State License in good standing
• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• ACLS
• NIH Stroke Scale

• Must have two or more years of current acute care hospital RN experience.
