Hours: 7am-4pm, Monday – Friday.

The Groundskeeper position, in accordance with established policies and procedures, is responsible for the upkeep of the community landscape including lawn, gardens, roadways, and nature trails. This position reports to the Grounds Supervisor.

• Work as a team to accomplish daily goals and project completion.
• Perform lawn mowing, trimming, and edging on a seasonal basis.
• Perform maintenance-based landscaping such as trimming bushes, spreading mulch, removing plants, planting, and edging.
• Maintain a clean and organized job site at all times.
• Adhere to safety procedures and maintain equipment accordingly.

Less than high school education; six months related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Background in grounds and landscaping, minor carpentry, painting, and mechanical skills preferred. Experience on snowplows also preferred. Willing to train the right person with a positive attitude.
