Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our team. In this role, you will support veterinarians in providing excellent animal care, ensuring the well‑being of our animal patients while maintaining a compassionate and efficient service.

Hourly Rate: $25–35 an hour, depending on skills, experience, and certifications.

Responsibilities:

• Assist veterinarians during examinations and surgeries.
• Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as prescribed.
• Perform routine laboratory tests and procedures.
• Monitor animal recovery post‑surgery and provide necessary care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and manage client communications.
• Ensure a clean and safe environment for animals and staff.
• Provide client education on pet care and health maintenance.

• Valid Veterinary Technician license in the state of Virginia.
• Proficiency in animal handling and restraint techniques.
• Strong knowledge of veterinary medicine and terminology.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and manage time efficiently.
• Compassionate approach towards animals and their owners.
• Basic proficiency with veterinary software and medical equipment.
