The Holiday Inn Oceanside is hiring now for a full-time breakfast server. We are seeking awesome associates who want to grow their career in hospitality. Cross training is available in other positions.

• Efficiently and accurately take and deliver orders while interacting with guests
• Learn menu items and be able to describe them appropriately to guests, check-in with guests to ensure that they have everything they need, and clean dirty dishes from the table
• Knowledge of beer, wine, and spirits; familiarity with domestic and import beers, different types of wine, and brand name spirits
• Maintain assigned areas by keeping them clean and free of debris, and track guests while they move around the pool area
• Work with other servers and be a team player
• Perform cashiering functions by closing checks and preparing end of shift paperwork
• Ensure that tables and side stands are kept stocked, tidy and clean
• Demonstrate superior guest service skills by presenting a friendly, relaxed, and professional demeanor; ability to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail while meeting business demands

• Minimum of 18 years of age, proof of authorization/eligibility to work in the United States
• Ability to communicate effectively in a positive, upbeat fashion; interpersonal skills with focus on guests needs
• Ability to check transactions accurately and efficiently; basic math skills a must
• Previous cash-handling experience, preferred
• Ability to withstand prolonged standing
• Ability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs
• Flexible availability; able to work weekends and holidays
